  16. Cook, Julia Child, 77, says it could be her last. Maybe so, but
  17. it's also big -- big enough (5 1/2 lbs., 511 pages) to require
  18. a sous chef merely to hold it up for the cook. Admirers will be
  19. delighted to discover that the $50 book isn't restricted to
  20. haute cuisine but gives full consideration to humble fare like
  21. meat loaf. Child wants people to stop messing around with so
  22. many dietary notions. That fretting about fiber, for instance.
  23. That's why, she says, "there are all those diarrhea
  24. commercials."
